Pomona has several announcements to share:
- Today is the last day to apply for pre-Passover burn permits. The permit application may be found HERE.

- Passover runs from the evening of April 1st through the evening of April 9th. Drivers should be aware that there will be more pedestrians and children on vacation from school in the area during the holiday. Pedestrians should wear reflectors at night, use sidewalks where available, and when walking on roads without sidewalks, walk on the left side of the road facing traffic.
- The Town of Ramapo has arranged for communal Chometz Burning See here on April 1ststarting at 6am at the following locations:
- Clover Stadium – Pomona – 1 Phil Tisi Way – Enter from Fireman’s Memorial Drive and make the first left into the parking lot behind the stadium
- Children’s Park – Chestnut Ridge – 60 Grotke Rd.
- Manny Welder Park – 148 W. Maple Ave. – Limited parking available in the park – No parking on West Maple, park on Concord, E. Concord, Valencia and Smolley instead
- Monsey Park & Ride – Route 59 & Saddle River Road
- Clark Park – 59 Campbell Ave – Airmont – Enter from Campbell Ave and turn right into the parking lot, exit onto Cragmere Rd.
